Jasper 7s Rugby Tournament is a Rugby Canada Sanctioned Tournament, and all participants MUST be registered with Rugby Canada in order to play and have insurance coverage. You can be registered with a club or purchase short term (72 hours/2 week) Rugby Canada Insurance. Please check your registration expiry date from last year. If you were registered for last year's season, your registration will still be active for this years tournament.
Rosters and Rugby Canada registration will be checked prior to the tournament, and athletes who are not registered will not be allowed to step on the field.

The ARU Concussion Protocol will be in effect during the tournament so please ensure you're familiar with it.

Women 7s - Possible competitive and social division

Old Girls 10s (over 35 yrs)
Old Boys 10s (over 35 yrs)
All 7s games will be 7-minute halves
All Old Boys/Old Girls 10-a-side games will be 10 minute halves.
Full draws and schedule will be posted the week before the tournament.

Rosters
7's Division:
Max 12 players on Roster;
Players must be 18 years or older.
Oldies Division:
Max 18 players on Roster;
Players must be 35 yrs or older
All Divisions
Team lists can be modified up until the week of the tournament - all players must submit their sportlomo ID's one week before the tournament. Players registered for the 2024 season will still be valid, new players must register for the 2025 season. Full, 2 week, or 72 hour registrations are all valid for insurance coverage.

Rules
The tournament follows all IRB 7-a-side regulations with up to 12 players aged 18 years or older allowed on each team's roster. Old boys will follow 10-a-side regulations with up to 18 players aged 35 years or older on each team’s roster. Teams are permitted to make 5 substitutions per game and substituted players can return to the field. Please note: all players MUST be on the specific team roster to play for that team (no roster switching is permitted in any knockout games.) Old boys substitutions are unlimited.
Old Boys and Old Girls will follow Rugby Canada guidelines for masters players with team captains identifying any qualifying players at their pre-game meeting.

Teams must check-in at the AthaB Friday night to finalize rosters, get their tournament draw, info package, and any pre-purchased T-shirts. Please be sure to check out the legendary AthaB hospitality Saturday night!!
Athletic Therapy/On Field Medical
There will be a certified athletic therapist located at both fields. They are there primarily for emergencies, but may be available for some prophylactic taping for a small materials fee. (please bring your own taping supplies to avoid this fee)
